how to uninstall?
 
I just compiled apached2 and have now decided that I really dont want it. How do you uninstall something that you compiled?

rm -i all-the-files-you-just-compiled It's a bit of a slow process, but there is not a simple 'make uninstall'.

Use checkinstall to keep track of the files you install next time.
