How to turn on direct Rendering for ATI x1300 PRO in Mandriva 2008
 
I don't know how to turn on direct rendering.
I'm running compiz and it is kind of choppy at times, so i typed in the Konsole:

How do i turn it on?

`modconf` load kernel drivers
`driconf` could help you enable dri

toggle kernel framebuffer device interface for Xorg so that it works for you, by reconfiguring package or so - maybe it doesn't matter
