how to turn down the volume in mpg123


Hi, I'm using mpg123 to play my mp3 files,but I don't know how to adjust the volume level, I googled about it but nothing, so, anybody knows how to turn down or up the volume?

If your mainly using the command line and not a GUI/Window Manger, you could try logging into another terminal (CTRL+ALT+(F1 to F6)) and use 'alsamixer' to control the audio.
