Hi there,

Can you provide some additional information? What application(s) are you running, and what exactly is slow?

There are dozens of tools you can use, depending on what you are looking for. These dig into details on everything from CPU & memory to network and disk performance.

Some good higher level starting points may be the "top", sar (sadc/sadr), vmstat & iptraf. I'd also recommend you enable collection of sar data (sadc) so you can see how the system performs over time.

Regards,

Clifford

Explain it little more, that is, slowness in what? Slowness in commands, or processing of commands, or in any application(s), or internet etc.
Also mentioned that are you working with GUI or CLI? And what applications are running on your system?

What's result of following cmds:
Code:
~$ top
~$ swap -s
~$ vmstat
