how to transfer files from windows to linu
 
Hi Friends


I got one problem in linux, my problem was, I installed NxServer free version,NXNode, NxClient in Linux from NOMACHINE.COM,installed NXClient in windows,upto here there is no problem, but my problem was how to transfer files from nxclient in windows to nxserver in linux,please send answer if any one know ,it is very urgent.

Assuming both the Linux and Windows machines are on the same LAN, it's really much simpler:

On the Windows box, right-click on the folders containing the data you want to transfer, and click Properties -> Sharing (tab) -> Check the box that reads "Share this folder on the network" and set a share name in the text field right below that.

Now, on the Linux box, install smb4k, run it, and then it should automatically browse your network for any computers and SMB/CIFS shares on the network, and then it's as simple as "Copy-Paste".
