How to theme GNOME 3.x menu-bar "x"

Hi- I've been working on a GTK theme and GNOME shell theme. I've changed the window buttons for every application... except for the ones that follow GNOME's design with the menu bar. Anyone happen to know how to theme the "x"?

Note how the terminal has themed window buttons, but the GNOME Tweaks doesn't. Do these menu-bar applications use metacity, as it seems that terminal does?
(I sincerely apologize if this is in the wrong place...)

i'm getting a 403 error on the link (might be due to security measures on this machine; however disabling noscript did not help).

if i'm the only one, please ignore this. if not, could you upload the screenshot elsewhere?

Fixed it. Previously I had the picture on Google Drive- now it's on my OwnCloud.
