How to switch between terminals via ssh?
 

How can i switch between a terminal if im connected to over ssh?
is their anyway to run more then one Terminal per session and switch between then?

I use a program like putty to ssh into linux i was curious if its possible to switch between a terminal via the same ssh session or would i need to run a new session?

Any program from the apt-get i can use or any short cuts ?

You can use screen or tmux for this purpose. I personally use tmux and can fully recommend it. Both programs should be present in most distro repositories and tutorials are plenty on the net.
