How to switch between Gnome and KDE on Mandrake 9.1?

I have used Red Hat 9.0 and it provides a very good tool for switching the desktop. But recently I shifted to Mandrake 9.1 and found that there is no such tool. The default startx brings up KDE and I want Gnome since I am very much used to this. Graphical login does give the flexibility to choose the window manager but I prefer text login only. What should I do? Please help!

if you want a text login. Edit your initab file located in your /etc folder and change the default runlevel from 5 to 3.

i don't know how it works in mdk, but you could check in your home directory for the hidden file .Xclients, and if it does exist in mandrake then you'll prolly see something like "exec startkde" you can change that to say "exec gnome-session" to get gnome when you type startx.
