Hello and welcome to the forum :)

This isn't my area of expertise but perhaps this tutorial might be of help. You can also check out my Google search here for other tutorials. :)

Regards...

Hi & welcome. Do you have any specific job openings in mind, or just for fun (like me)?
Can you be more specific about which aspects of Linux coding?
Start with syscalls (man -s 2). kernel.org? GUI? Any particular applications?
What specific web-searches have you tried? Do any particular books (Amazon) interest you?
Tell us a tiny bit about your Linux experience, PC resources, ... Best wishes; ENJOY! ;)

p.s. Here's one (old but free) as a start: http://advancedlinuxprogramming.com

I recommend "Code::Blocks" (http://www.codeblocks.org) as one of the IDEs that you could use.
In the past I've used Eclipse, KDevelop, Codelite and Netbeans (and MS Visual Studio, ggghhh! :) ) but I always ended up not liking something about them... => now with CD I'm more or less happy.
