How to share printer under GNOME environment???
First I have to repeat again I am a newbie.
I has successfully install vmware on my MANDRAKE LINUX 10.1 COMMUNITY.Although now Linux is my major OS,but sometime I have to use Windows to complete my job. So,what should I do ? TKS~~~~ |

could be anything. are you using cups ? does your firewall allow tcp connections to port 631 ? are the other machines set correctly to use a CUPS printer ? or are you shareing the printer with samba ? |
Oh my god...where is the printer icon?I really can not found it ... -_-~!(GNOME,Mandrakelinux 10.1)
What is cups? The printer is setup correctly ,I has already printed a test page...and I am sure the printer wasn't shared with any machine. ------------ (the guest os is windows 2000 ) |
