how to share connections between two computers?

I got 2 computers, and how can I share internet connection wirelessly.
can I share internet connections when one computer is using window, and the other is linux given that I am using:
1: wireless router
2: usb dongle

Yes you can, my dad's got a wireless router, works great... though they do tend to slow down and interfere with connections every so often.
