How to setup gmail


I do not use Evolution email at all but would like to install and use Gmail! Could anyone help me get started on this? I am using the latest version of Ubuntu 11.1

Are you wanting to setup gmail in evolution? or thunderbird???

Also, don't forget to Enable POP from within the Gmail settings. Or IMAP, whichever you are going to use. Also in the Gmail settings there is a link for assistance in setting up several email clients for use with Gmail. Just log into your Gmail web account and click the settings button (a gear or cog looking thing for my Gmail).
