how to setup ftp server in rhel5
Hi all,
I am at linux world. Can anybody help me how to setup FTP server in rhel5? Any type of help will be appreciated. If the given help will be described setp by step, that will be great. Waiting for reply. Thanks.

RHEL comes with vsftpd, so you can read the documentation here on how to install and configure it.

thanks for response. But all these deployment guides are a little bit hard to understand for newbies like me. So if you just give some "how to make" type description that will be more helpful for new user like me.

Here is a guide to vsftpd setup on CentOS. Relevant for RHEL5 as well.
This guide from CentOS site is more descriptive. Follow it step by step.
