How to setup a ww2 DNS Zone Record

Hi there

I am not sure if it is possible to do this... I hope someone can help...

I have setup my www as an A record that points to another server (for testing purposes)

But now I also want to be able to access the local data to do stuff there...

Is it possible to setup a ww2 record or something smilar to point to the root of the local server the domain is on?

Thanks for the help!

not sure exactly what you are looking to do..

Yes you can setup multiple A records in DNS pointing to different servers, or even the same server if you like.

if you are running multiple websites on a single server, you can use name based virtual hosts so those different names point to different web sites on those servers.
