How to set up web page background?

Hi

I am using fedora core 4 with kde 3.4 I really used to like the Active Desktop feature in windows where one could display any html page as a desktop background. Is there such a feature in KDE also. On a previous post at this site at /showthread.php?p=1993621#post1993621
I got a reply that KDE supports SVG but that doesn't quite answer my question.

There is an application called kwebdesktop.

Make sure it is installed, right click on your desktop, choose "configure desktop", click on "advanced options" and then, under "use the following program for drawing the background" select kwebdesktop and configure it.

Hope that helps.

Re: kwebdesktop

I tried kwebdesktop, it works fine for static webpages but for dynamic ones with say JavaScript it doesn't render the page properly. Are any special switches needed to make it work with JavaScript as KHTML itself supports JavaScript.

Also I was unable to find the man page for kwebdesktop, and the command line help is far from helpful. Can anyone point me to a link where I can get its documentation.
