How to set statick MAC address to my device?
Hi,
It seems like my device's MAC address changes every time I boot it.
# ifconfig
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 0A:6B:65:14:7A:90
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:3983 errors:0 dropped:2050 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:2 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
RX bytes:298295 (291.3 KiB) TX bytes:684 (684.0 B)
Interrupt:27
The 'HWaddr' field is different every time.
Is there a way to set a 'static' address so it remains the same after reboot?
Regards,
Wei Xu
