How to set "change key layout"

Hi all,

I am using Debian and I want to set Ctrl + 1,2,3 key combination for the three layouts I use. In System/Preference there are some combinations but no custom that I can set Ctrl+1,Ctrl+2, etc.

Is there a way to do that through command line? I can't find anything in google.

Try attaching the key combinations to commands like "setkxbmap us". You don't say what window manager you have, but with the Gnome configuration program you need to go to apps-metacity-global_keybindings and apps-metacity-keybinding_commands.

PS Your shortcuts may not be a good choice, as those combinations may be used by some programs. I'd advise the Super key (akak Windows key).
