How to set an application as default under KDE?

Debian 'Sarge' with 2.6.11-1-k7 kernel with KDE v3.4

How do I set an application as default?

How do I make applications like xmms, mplayer and etc as default player?

Ok Right-Click on an video,mp3,text file, etc then click properties then click on the little wrench then click add. If the appilcation is already listed move the application you want as your default player up the list at the top. Then click apply and that's it!
