How to run a daemon at startup (Slackware)

Hi

I am new to Linux. I am running a perforce server to manage my source code. Everytime I have to run it manually in the terminal using root.

I want to know how to startup the daemon at startup automatically?

I use slackware.

Many thanks,
Kevin

You can put the full path to the commnand you use to start the daemon in /etc/rc.d/rc.local
