how to resize a ext2 partition?
 
how can i resize a ext2 partition without lossing data. it doesn't contain any system data it's only a "personal" partition. now i need to resize it. is there a tool for this like partition magic for windows?

You can use parted. But it's not graphical. It will be better to read its manual first. But it' not hard.

there's resize2fs or if you'r on mandrake harddrake is brilliant

well i'm using redhat so i'll give a shot to parted or resize2fs.
