I think you would need to format the Linux partition as ntfs so xp and vista can read them. Then, I think there is a backup tool available on the windows xp or vista installation cd to restore the MBR on the hard disk. This will remove grub and return everything to "normal" again. I haven't used a windows xp install cd for 2 years, and have never had to use the tool, so I am not 100% sure that this will work. I am also not sure what file system types vista uses, and I don't know if the XP install cd can read these. You could then use another tool to resize the remaining partitions, to return your vista and xp partitions to their normal sizes.

get rid of grub in the mbr. You have to boot the xp cd goto recovery console login with your admin password. at the prompt type fixmbr that it. a faster way to do that have and old win98se boot cd boot it than type fdisk /mbr.

Xp or vista can't see linux partitions so you need a linux livecd to format your linux partition back to ntfs. knoppix is great for that. just be careful you dont format over your windows partitions.
