Talking How to REMOVE shares in samba using WEBMIN


hi..my samba shares are working fine but i don't know how to REMOVE my samba shares..for now I only select the option NOT BROWSABLE..

is there a way to completely remove shares?

any help about this is greatly appreciated..

I don't know about Webmin, but I would open the smb.conf file (maybe in /etc/samba - depends on the distro) and put a #in front of each line in the section that you don't want. Then restart samba.

hi

You do not mention wich version of webmin you have but i use 1.370and
once you choose samba file sharing on the left you see option on the right.
just above global configuration you see a button indicating delete open share and just above this botton the list of samba share on your system
