Did you actually do any research at all about this ?

Because for one thing, the kernel doesn't load drivers that it does not need to have loaded.

Could you please provide more details so we may be better able to assist? What type of modules are you referring to, and why do you want to remove them?

SOLVED
ubuntu 17.3 HP elitebook8470p
I had issues with the HD-nearing capacity. I searched to see what was causing this, in this search I found 10 kernal in a local section files that were nearly identical. They were 4-5 gb and were 2 new ones per day. I solved this problem by moving 2 folders off the desk to 1T storage drive.(0)(0)and I used this program. Byobu.
