how to reinstall libraries

Hi there, i have a problem, some apps canīt start (for example korganizer), they finish in something like error while loading shared libraries: /opt/kde3/lib/libknewstuff.so.1: undefined symbol: _ZN13KListViewItem10insertItemEP13QListViewItem actualy this line is missing in the library, ho can i reinstall or rebuild libraries to get back missing lines and dependencies. This causes many failures for apps to load. Is it enough to reinstall affected rpm packages? Or is there any option in suse 9.1 personal to easily reinstall system files in this case? Thank you for your help people.

Did you upgrade KDE using third party RPMs(ie not ones provided by Suse, including ones on KDE mirror)

yes

It was my fault, Suse gave me the last chance to not to hurt the system, but i ignored it... but i did not install a third party rpm, it all was from suse webpage for suse 9.1,
but iīm quite not sure of the libraries i obtained. No matter, i need to rebuild my libraries. Is there any easy way?

You can remove the RPMs and reinstall them from the CDs but this isn't a particularly straightforward operation.

I'm not sure what you've done ... looks like you upgraded/downgraded parts of KDE somehow.

i have logs

i have 10 MB of logs with yast2, what i have done, what i changed... but it should be like pointing out another star with life in the huge universe :) so i will try to reinstall the affected package, i will see what happen then...

Oooo i corrected it

Okay, i had a stressful moment, i uninstalled the kdepim3 package, and then i reinstalled it... wow it works, i love linux... (my gosh, i have ever never should say something like that, i was a rocky strong windoze user... got rid of it when catched viruses while had original and up to date antivirus software... nothing could clean the system, personall firewalls, ie reinstall, many strong avir softs..., except format... )... IE is the road to hell :)
