How to reconnect to my HP Printer

Some weeks ago I succesfully installed a Linux driver for a new HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3525 printer usins HPLIN. Yesterday I inadvertantly hit the off botton while it was starting to print from the computer. Now the printer will not print from any computer order My OS is Ubuntu 10.04. How to

I'd try completely disconnecting the printer from your machine and running off-diconnect power-wait 5 minutes-connect power-connect the printer cycle. Such deep reboots help quite often. Does it show any red leds etc?

The problem was solved by reinstalling the printer as if it was new , marking it as default prnter, then deleting the original installation. The reboot idea did not work. Thanks anyway
