How to put hp710C printer working with linux?
 

Hello!

Tks in advance for sugestions on how to install hp 710C printer to be manage by redhat 7. Just a driver which I've not, or some more complicated arrangements are needed?
I read 710C its a "winprinter" which can be a problem.
Anyway, I tried printconfig which led me through some choices (I chose "local printer" and pnm2ppa driver) to create a queue. The path is /dev/lp0.

But the printer shows no signs of life...

To get the printer printing, read the manual included, there's a script example in it, that should be added to /usr/bin/

one solution would be to upgrade to redhat 9, or fedora core 1 or fedora core 2.
they all detected my HP Deskjet 710c printer, and configured it automatically.
