How to put DSL on USB KEY?

I have been having printer problems with both Ubuntu and Kbuntu, and I am looking for a band aid solution until I am able to find a proper way to resolve this issue.

I have a copy of Damn Small Linux in iso format on my desktop. Can anyone tell me how to transfer this onto my usb key is such a way that I can boot up DSL straight from the key?

Oh also can anyone who has experience with DSL tell me what the printer driver support is like, do you think that using DSL is actually going to help me or should I try something else.

Note that I have tried using the Ubuntu live cd to install the printer but am having completely different problems.

For those who are interested, heres a link describing my printer problems in more detail.

Hi, first, I'm not sure if your printer is supported by DSL because it uses an old kernel (2.4.26, if I'm not wrong), so it depends on your printer (whether it's an old one or a new one). You can install DSL into your usb device in the following way: burn the iso image into a cd, boot the cd and then right clicked on the desktop; you'll find a "tools" menu there; under this menu there's the option to install DSL to a usb device. If you don't have a cd burner, you might want to read this.

Regards.

Note that whether or not you can boot from a USB device depends on your BIOS. Look at the different option under the Boot Sequence; if you do not see an option for USB, you won't be able to boot from it
