How to print to a pseudo terminal in RHEL5?
Friends,
I dont have a printer, I wish to learn the print commands in rhel5. Could you please let me know how to make one of my terminal a serial device (eg./dev/pts/0) so that I can test the printer commands by printing to that terminal. I tried this through system-config-printer command, but it displays error message that 'printer error.' I gave the printer as "serial: /dev/pts/0. and also postcript. pls advise. |
This isn't the exact solution you've asked for, but you can install cups-pdf and print to PDFs.
