how to pass traffic through intermediate nodes in ns2 in wireless simulation.

i have created a wireless mobile scenario of 20 nodes with node0 as source and node19 as sink. when i start simulation i find the traffic directly goes from node0 to node19 as single hop communication. there are many other intermediate nodes and i want to pass traffic through them as well to make it multihop communication. please suggest.
