How to open chm files in Linux

Dear All

Yesterday I download a book which is in book.chm format.

Now I want to read it and is it required some special s/w to read.
Or any other easiest way to solve problem.

Please help.

Thanks & Regards

Hello,

chm is a Microsoft compressed html file. You can use something like xchm to open and view them. Look it up in your package manager, should be there (in Debian Squeeze it's available).

Kind regards,

Eric
