How to open a terminal?

I have an Acer running Linpus Lite; also a PC running Ubunto and a Mac. I have given up Windows.
I also have an iPhone. My question is this - what is the best way to open a terminal?

Your answers start with "open a terminal....." but do not show how to do it.

On your Mac, Terminal is an App. Type Terminal in spotlight and you got it. I´m pretty sure it`s the same thing on Linux, except the spotlight part.

There are different ways.
You can go to your menu and look in the utilities category and select there terminal. in some Desktop manager are listed like Konsole or xterm.

You can also press the alt + F2 key and a pop up windows will appear in which you can type terminal and press enter.

God luck to you.
