Question how to move a linux file to a windows partition??


i recently d/l a file in linux(mandrake) and i want to be able to view it from windows 2000(ntfs) how can i go about doing this ?

By default, (maybe its on option, or requires "add-on")

Mandrake cannot write to NTFS partitions, it can only read from them.

there is a program called explore2fs which can be used in windows and u can view your file which is in the linux partition

If nothing else works, you could burn your file onto a (rewriteable) CD from Linux and read that from Windows.

putting it onto a cd was my first options but as i am still a newb to linux i had heaps of problems trying to do that
but exploref2s worked
