I am trying to mount a .md file in CDlinux and getting errors and need help to sort this out. I am totally new to Linux and reach to this point just by reading the articles or forums.
So here is my problem details:

I want to mount a module file in CDlinux and when I type the following command

mount - o loop -t /mount/tmp (or any other directory name)

I got the error

mount: mount point mount/tmp does not exist

I have no clue and need your help ..

Have you created the directory /mount/tmp?

mkdir /mount/tmp

Also, there is already a top-level directory called /mnt, why not put a subdirectory in there?

Yes I did make the folder but same result. I think I need to install the utilities first to read this file syatem first. Anyways I started working on CentOS now. I need if I could get documentation for CDLinux distro.

Thanks for your reply.
