How to mount a nfs directory in client

I have to mount a directory in the client every time. and have to give the root password for that.

I want to know is there any possible solution. That can mount the required directory automatically and I don't need to mount it again

I have even given that directory name in /etc/fstab but it is not mounting

Hello Vinod,

/etc/fstab is the best way to automatically mount the filesystems .
I guess you are doing something wrong in the /etc/fstab file.
Please post your entry in fstab and your OS details.

Note: You need to run mount -a for the same booting session .

post your fstab entry. also ftsab is not always the best way to mount an NFS share. you might want to look into autofs.
