How to modify dial options ( From "pulse" to "tone" )

I run Slackware 9.1 with the included KDE :P

And I have a internal Intel 536EP Chipset 56k Modem, and use KPPP to connect to the internet. I downloaded the Linux drivers from intel.com and installed the modem correctly. All is working perfect just it dials with Pulse not with Tone. My phone company is on an analogic head office and accepts only Tone dialing. If someone understands my question and could help me

Its only a word i think i must change, but i dont know wich word needs to be changed and with what word and even more where is the file that contains that word.

I believe that if you use the ATDT instead of ATDP it should switch to tone dialing... try it.
