How to migrate RAID 5 to RAID 1(Mirroring)

Dear all,

i can find many articles in google about migration from RAID 1 to RAID 5.
but what about RAID 5 to RAID 1.

I have a root(/) partition in RAID 1 and want to migrate to RAID 1. This is in production systems.

Kindly help

Unless you have additional temporary storage you can use, I don't think this is possible. Because your dealing with a production system, if you have the resources, it would be a good idea to make a secondary copy of the production system with a raid 1 setup. Once you're sure the secondary is fine, just switch the production with the secondary.
