how to make X use iceWM ???
 

Hey guys.

im using a graphical login screen, but wouldnt mind a text based login screen it its easyer.

but im getting lost in the mase of startup scripts.

i have redhat 9. which script is starting KDE ?
and is changing WM as simple as replacing exec kde with ecec icewm ???

if you want to go straight to console/text login change

/etc/inittab

to 3 instead of 5, like to

id:3:initdefault:


or to change your graphic desktop try


xwmconfig


in a sheel command line

thanX sorted it out.

put exec icwm into ~/.xinitrc

set runlevel default to 3.

and put startx in my bash profile :D:D:D
