How to make Suse installation DVD from CDs
 

Hello forum!

I have just wonder If I can make the installation DVD for SUSE 9 from DVD.

I have just got those Suse 9 (5 cds) from my friend and I think that would be great if I can make those 5 Cds fit into one DVD(Don't need to swap disk during the installation).

Could anybody help about this or could tell me where could I get information about this?

just copy all the contents from the 5 CDs to one directory then burn them on DVD, make sure the directory boot, suse, media.1-5 etc is in the root directory of the dvd. When you install the packages it'll actually show up as 5 CDs.

Thanks you very much. Working but I still have to make another bootable CD to boot up because I failed to make it boot from DVD.
