How to make login manager KDM up after start up
 

Dear all,
Is it possible to bring KDM up after startup instead of tty1? Is yes, how?

Sure is ... you're using slackware, right?

Two ways to go about it:
1) make runlevel 4 the default in /etc/inittab
2) add /usr/bin/kdm& to the end of /etc/rc.d/rc.local
