How to make GNOME open a window in the center of my screen?

Hi, when i start an application it usually places it in the upper left corner or lower right corner or something like that.. but never in the middle of my screen. How can I configure GNOME to always open applications in the middle of my screen..?

Can you post a screenshot of your problem?

Remember: If you want to get help, you need to be specific.

QueenZ i have the same problem,on f12 if you place the application exactly wherever you like [must be done more than one time],the next time the os boot it will memorize it's place, but f13 won't do that, although every time i open my computer or my home i place them where,i want them to be,but it sounds f13 can't memorize it's place,
