Question How to make DVD from jigdo images

I'm new to Linux, but not new to computers. I managed to download the DVD .template, .jigdo and .ISO to my hard drive, but how to make a DVD that will setup linux? I know if I simply burn these files to a DVD, there is nothing to boot the DVD, nor is there any batch file to execute the set-up.

When you say you downloaded the ISO, did you use jigdo to download and merge all of the packages already? If so, you just need to burn the ISO as an image (not as a file on a data CD... if you're using Nero you need to use the "Write Image" option).
