how to make application icon in suse 92/kde

I installed Suse 9.2 with KDE.
I have installed firefox.
How can I create an icon for it in the panel or in the menus?

I right click on the panel and can add menus, etc. but can't figure out how to get a panel where I type in the "command" box "firefox" like I do in RHEL3.

Thanks,

Right click panel >> Add >> Special Button >> Non-KDE Application >> [insert command line command]
-Will get you a button that runs a specified command for you

Add >> Applet >> Application Launcher
Gives you a mini-command line.
