Just curious, but do you simply want a live linux you can run from a cd? If so there are numerous linux distros out there you simply have to download them and burn them as an ISO file to the cd and you have your live cd.

Anyways a little more information would be helpful.

The purpose of linux-live.org is for you to make a live CD of your own distro that you've already installed. The question is why would you want to do this - considering that you're running Mint and you can simply go to the Mint download page and download the Live CD?

Or perhaps easier...

If you want to make a modification in what's on a live-cd of Mint or one of the other distributions, the best place to start is with the methods that the distribution presents you. Mint has a function called "mintconstructor"

For other linux live-cds, try to google with that distro and the term "remaster". You can assemble your own, but it may not be that easy. It is not a co-incidence that there are so many variants of linux starting with Ubuntu.

I use openSUSE.
