How to make a dual boot.

A while ago I had a dual boot with Linux and Windows but those were on seperate hard drives and with Morphix. Now I want a Dual boot with DSL in case I need Linux. I am using cfdisk but I don't know how to set the hard drives up. Windows is labled as Primary and I have the choice with my linux install. I tried logical and it didn't work. Do I need primary? Is there a conflict with windows if I use primary?

A Hard Drive can Have 4 Primary Partition and 1 Extended. As Far as I know Linux needs to be installed on a Primary Partition. As long as you installed Windows FIRST, you should be ok. I recomend using a second HD and installing Linux on that. Good Luck!
