How to load USB phone for Skype?

I run Mandriva, as of this morning, and have just loaded Skype. Now I have a 'USB Phone for Skype' from Philips but I can't get it to work. Will the same drivers as I used to use for Windows still work, and if so how do I get them off the CD which isn't running, instead asking me which program I wish to run it in? If not, does anyone know where I can get the driver?
Many thanks.

You will need to find Linux drivers for your USB Phone. Windows drivers won't work on Linux.

Strange my USB phone has Windows drivers, but works "out-of-the-box" and without drivers in Linux.

Plug in your USB phone. Open Skype. Check out the S button (bottom left)>Options>Sound Devices. Look on Sound Out and Sound In for USB phone options.

Thanks so much for your input; I did as you suggested, and it works.
Thank you!
