How to load Adobe Flash player on ubuntu 10.04 LTS

Our mail server has changed formats and now requires adobe flash player. Installation from the browser does not work since i do not have the root password. What is the best way to go about the installation?

THanks

You will need a password in order to install anything in Ubuntu. Flash player is available in the repositories therefore you can install it from Synaptic, to run synaptic you will need to issue a password then just search for Flash Player in the list of available packages. Or you can install it from the Ubuntu Software Center which will also ask you for a password.

Good luck to you.
