how to know processor....


Hi All...

I want to know processor information.... i checked in /etc/sysconfig/hwconf file... but i didn't get my processor info...... is there any other process to know??????....any help would B appreciated...

Hello again
To see what your processor is use the command: cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep MHz

There is another command to see what processor type your operating system is ...
uname -p
