mc uses (an approximation of) EMACS key bindings.

Try
Code:
Alt+>

On my local GUY linux server the command is working, but when I log in into my server with putty and do mcedit /var/log/something and do Alt +> it tells me:

Load macro: Cannot open macro file

This "error" occures on 3 different computers. What's wrong ?

I am obligate to use vi (and I don't like vi) when I want to scroll to the end of the log file. Using vi I can shift G but like I said, I don't like vi. But ofc, for large log files vi is better, I know that.
