How to install WMC 8.8.4

Does anyone know how to install WMC 8.8.4 with epg 123 guides and Hauppauge capture hardware on latest versions of Linux Mint Cinnamon ver. 20 and Wine

This seems to be a Windows question.
You could consider going to a Windows forum and asking if WMC can be ported to any Linux distro.
A Windows forum would be more familiar with the software.

I can't understand why anyone would want to get Windows Media Center working on Linux. Why?
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php...f_Applications

What the OP needs to do is install/find/get/build support for the Hauppauge tv tuner device. Then use v4l and a media player, or ffmpeg, to do whatever they want to with that media transport stream. We linux people do that everyday.

@Tigger@39

What is that device? A PCIe card, or a usb device? What does dmesg say about it. Do you already have kernel support for it? You won't know until you look.

When you get serious about using linux, and getting that tuner device working, then post a serious thread, about what you have tried, the outputs of
dmesg
lspci -k
lsusb

Once you get firmware working for that device. All you need is a channels.conf file, zap a channel, then play it or record it. There are also many big heavy softwares that will interact with that device. Look at above softwares link.

Edit:
There is also NdisWrapper, if you can't get any other way.
