how to install vmware

when I run vmware-install.pl
and did what he told me to do.
somthing happened !
He told me that ‘The path "/usr/src/linux/include" is not an existing directory.’
When I input the right path he just told that the kernel is not the kernel that I'm runing now.
But I'm sure the kernel is the same .
How can I deal with this problem?
My os is fc5 testing .
Can anyone help me?

You need to have the current kernel source on the harddrive for vmware to build the vmmon and vmnet modules. Normal extracted kernel is in /usr/src/linux. What do you have in /usr/src?
Once you have the current running kernel source installed you need will need to more than likely run the vmware-any-any-update from http://ftp.cvut.cz/vmware . Get the latest version.
It is looking for this file I believe. It contains the kernel info version and compares it to the info it gets from uname -r command. file:///usr/src/linux-2.6.15.4/include/linux/version.h
